1. INTRODUCION
Thanks, for downloading "City_SPb"!
"City_SPb" is a single player adventure mod, based on source engine
(Half-Life 2) by Valve.
Game Features: Realism, hires phototextures with bump maps (photography in
Kronshtadt, Viborg, Ivangorod, Shlisselburg, Saint-Petersburg), models
houses, props and physical objects, Real houses series,
ambient music, Non-linear scenario, two final ends.
Stable works with Half-Life 2
Protocol version 15
Exe version 1.0.0.0 (hl2)
Exe build: 13:50:44 Aug 11 2010 (4295) (220)
If spawn error: "Engine hunk overflow", then print in console: "r_hunkalloclightmaps 0"

2. LAUNCH
Any variant:
1) Use shortcut "City_SPb_Launch" on desktop.
2) Launch City_SPb_Launch.bat.
3) Create shortcut for hl.exe with next parameters: +map city_SPb.
4) Launch Half-Life 2. In console print: map city_SPb.

Привет мужики, отличный мод.
Это пожалуй один единственный мод, с отечественной архитектурой.
I tried out v1.2 and it's not a really a game yet, but rather the basis for one. There doesn't seem to be an objective to accomplish, so it's like a sighseeing tour, of a rather depressing city. :-/
I just walked around, picked up some items, then came across some guards standing in a row, and not reacting to my presence until I came close. Then they just started shooting at me. I killed them easily, but then got killed by a Strider.
Also, the map starts off next to an invisible wall. Invisible walls are very common in games, but they are bad design. It'd be better to put a forcefield in there, or a big malien mobile wall.
Is there a map editor people would care to recommend?
I currently have this installed in
Steam\steamapps\m_nadal\half-life 2\hl2\maps\City_SPb.bsp
is there a way I can play around with it in Garry's Mod? It doesn't show up in the Start New Game map selector.
I know all the bugs, but they are not critical to the game.
My recommendation to defer this modification away and wait for the release City_SPb2 in May 2012. And I do not know is supported Garry's Mod but I'm sure that a similar map from City_SPb2 should work with Garry's MOD, since it is optimized better. Input in console map mapname.
Version 1.4 is the latest with the working armed buggy.
Tracking now =D Looks very awsome. I never knew sutch huge map can be handeled by old good source engine =)

why is it I'm seeing some blue walls?
anyway why not convert it to a css map with 100 vs 100 spawn points hehe?
