Greetings,
once again it's the 26th of April. Exactly 27 years ago the biggest nuclear accident in history took its course. To be followed by complete devastation for Pripyat and its surroundings on one hand, unthinkable tragedies, thousands of deaths, and burdens to carry for those who survived, on the other hand. On this very day we shall commemorate those who took action to seal off Reactor Block 4 and to curtail the radioactive fallout. Many of them died short after, and those who survived suffer from severe diseases nowadays. No doubt the rotten remains of Pripyat still pose a somehow mystical reminder for what can happen if mankind is not able to control its own creations.
Yet there is a lot of work left to be done and a certain lack of ambitious and talented 3d-designers and character designers, so if you think you are skilled enough and can take part in this meaningful project, you might consider applying for one of these positions. But whatever your abilities are, if you think you can be an enrichment for the project, please contact us at av3ris[at]chernobyl-l4d2.com and don't forget to attach some of your past work.
Stay tuned,
Av3ris & the Chernobyl Team

@l4ddev Cool stuff. But did you think about a function for download-mirrors? Because the most best campaigns are often bigger than 500MB.

Workshop published! But with a size-limit of 500MB each user, come on guys that´s a joke? CB is unfinished already sized about 1,2 GB

Some news soon?
Indeed there will be a media update in the near future. Stay tuned ;)
Great! Keep going guys! Your work is just AWESOME !!!
I really hope this can be even much longer Campaign then any of the L4D2 maps that have release, recently now only Lambda, Claustrophobia and Resident Evil: File 1, Silent Hill, Back to School is by far one of the Longest Campaign as they have 6/6 and 7/7 Maps in total include the Finale. Hopefully, this can be much longest. Especially most the important the Atmosphere of Exclusion Zone, what happened after the 1986 Disasters. That are done in scratch not a rip off, but a completely independent design by yourself. Anyway, Good Luck and I wish you all the best, in the future letting us satisfied that all the work will not be in vain.

Hello there ;) First of all, thanks for your comment. At the moment we are working on 6 maps and feel like that's exactly the right length for the campaign. We are trying to recreate the very intense atmosphere of the real Pripyat as good as possible, however it will still be Left4Dead2 and therefore the overall game experience will suffer from very long campaigns for the majority of players. Extended game time would require to the change game mechanics themselves to provide a "crescendo" until the finale. Even though you'll see some features regarding game play, the core mechanics will remain untouched. Nevertheless the overall play time is longer than in the official campaigns, so we are eager to fulfill your desires and hope to see more feedback from you in the future ;)
Nice for you the reply as I thought you guys have abandoned the project or being in coma, even in the L4D Maps Website your comment box have being closed due to for the developer to write only, due to a lot of work focusing in the Public Life. Anyway, have you guys contacting with Elseware-experience ? Because they also creating Left 4 Dead Maps that are related also related in the Chernobyl Region, but with a different path by a River of Ukraine called Dniepr of a prequel getting to Chernobyl. It will be much enjoyment if this campaign can be like The Passing as is like the Survivors of L4D meeting Survivors of L4D2 trying to contacting with helicopter of sacrificing one of the member to complete it. If can, a lot of people will be very satisfying. Also, Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Hey there again ;) The L4D-Maps- comment box was closed due to some trolls fooling around there. At the moment we aren't in contact with the Elseware-Experience-Team and we don't plan to collaborate with them, because we have very special plans regarding the story and characters of our campaign and can't really accept any trade offs resulting from combining two campaigns. I'm sorry for that. However thanks for your comment and your accolade ;)
