Greetings,
once again it's the 26th of April. Exactly 27 years ago the biggest nuclear accident in history took its course. To be followed by complete devastation for Pripyat and its surroundings on one hand, unthinkable tragedies, thousands of deaths, and burdens to carry for those who survived, on the other hand. On this very day we shall commemorate those who took action to seal off Reactor Block 4 and to curtail the radioactive fallout. Many of them died short after, and those who survived suffer from severe diseases nowadays. No doubt the rotten remains of Pripyat still pose a somehow mystical reminder for what can happen if mankind is not able to control its own creations.
Yet there is a lot of work left to be done and a certain lack of ambitious and talented 3d-designers and character designers, so if you think you are skilled enough and can take part in this meaningful project, you might consider applying for one of these positions. But whatever your abilities are, if you think you can be an enrichment for the project, please contact us at av3ris[at]chernobyl-l4d2.com and don't forget to attach some of your past work.

In this campaign there should be an easter egg where the S.T.A..L.K.E.R Controller monster appears walking at a point in the game....and then it vanishes.

It think it would be cool if the story was something like :
In present time [2012] the virus was spreading fast, and the only way to stop it is by radiation [like a weakness of the virus].And to stop the virus the 4 characters went to chernobyl to activate the remaining working reactors, and melt them, so the radiation would purge the world of the virus, and the rest of humanity would take shelter in some remote bunker, or even better, a space station :)..I know , I know... it's not very realistic since it would take decades for the radiation to fade away, and the earth to be habitable again. But just IMAGINE a finale where you melt down a nuclear powerplant and try to get the f@ck away as fast as you can while dodging vicious zombies hungry for your flesh :)
It would take epicness to a whole new level.
There is high demand for a new L4D2 Mod.
