Description

The "Pacifier" urban tank is used by GDI in regions not under direct threat of incursion as anti-riot measures.

Because of the resource constraints which come with the development of major, Tiberium-free, civilian centres, riots over food and water were common. In reaction to this, GDI's police force was given more power, and GDI's MR division was commissioned to develop vehicles for use in urban environments in a police and civil defence capacity.

The Pacifier is armed with a small tank cannon for dealing with armoured targets, and also carries a net launcher for use against infantry. Despite orders not to harm rioters, it has been known for squads to outfit their vehicles with more fatal weapons than nets.
