C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Maybe but in fact it a plasma cannon from what I understand, or else it wouldn't work. Logically at least. (Only ionized air can be controlled by a magnetic field)

Hills seem to be the only thing that can stop the projectiles.

While it's decent with line of sight targets I feel cannon and missile arty gets the job done better, especially when there's a hill between the target and the weapons platform.

Superheated air? It's a hair-dryer tank! JK, the GDI's rail guns for C&C3 weren't "real" rail guns either. They were just a generic (albeit really cool looking) energy weapon called rail guns.

you know in cnc3 if you looked really close when the railguns were firing..just as they fired a small projectile led the "beam" to the target....it took me just over 2 years to find it

Description

Altough it isn't a railgun in the true sense
of the word, this vehicle actually fires a highly
concentrated beam of superheated air, kept stable
by a rotating magnetic field. It has the ability
to pierce several armoured vehicles, before
eventually plunging into its actual target.
