This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.

If it is not a SCUD launcher, then what will the anthrax warhead be?

They are not used, they are currently in storage. What does missile system has to do with USSR politics?

They are still operational in plenty of 3rd world countries. Caused casualties in first or second gulf war, can't remember.

I have the feeling that this vehicle was the basis for the original RA V2 launcher, but then again, those sprites aren't that detailed

Something like it yes. Funny thing is the Soviets actually had a knock-off V2, R1. Almost exact replica too :). Fun facts:

The R-1's insulated electrical wiring attracted vermin. In one January 1953 incident, thousands of flood-displaced mice disabled many rockets by eating the insulation, requiring "hundreds of cats and repairmen"

Retrodesigned copy of V-2. It's much more difficult that to create new rocket from the scratch. It was political decision to copy it not scientific necessity. That's why Korolev dumped all that V-2 design resemblancies in his R-7.

I've suggested Stage 3 as the OTR-21 Tochka.

Interesting how some GLA stuff have become more archaic (BTR-40 for Battle bus, Luna-M for SCUD), while Marauder has become more modern (T-72).

They aren't getting a scud. Their mobile radar system is from 1974. In case you didn't get the memo our RL GLA is similar to insurgent movements within middle eastern countries that combat local dictatorships. Shoddy soviet export tech. Lots of it. No modern crap. Better if used in many places than just one. There really isn't much point questioning our selection process at this point I'm afraid."

T-72 was a older tank actually, older even to the M1 Abrams, it was upgraded to increase its life expectancy. It was a 1970 design that still in use today.

Actually it was designed as a cheaper supplement to the T-64 which proved unreliable and expensive to maintain.

Just in case if making the mod takes your time from sleeping, I have a neat and accurate Scud model (and many others).
The not-a-Scud model seems perfect, though might be kinda heavy for 10-years old engine

All vehicles relative to all vehicles. Aircraft are scaled entirely independently of each other and all units, otherwise the difference are HUGE and game-ruining.
