This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.

For anyone who gets an error after install of this mod remove the ! infront of the file name
Do not do this! This breaks the mod! Instead make sure you are running compatibility mode XP SP3 first as is stated in the Readme!
the "!" is there to make sure the mod big will overwrite the VZH big files...

Except the mistake would actually trick people into thinking they are running the mod while they would actually be playing a broken version with almost no changes.

it will work with other mods if you make sub maps and 1 original then you have all the mods you want ik have 13 mods for C&C Zero hour!

hey guys i got a big problem when i start zero hour it said you have encountered a serious error. serious errors can be cause by many things included viruses overheated hardware and hardware that does not meet the minimum specification for the game please visit the forum at generals ea com for suggested courses of action or consult your manual technical support contact information
pls help me i really need to play this kind of mod it is very awesome :)) help me pls
1) Have a clean install of Zero Hour (even a TFD install is fine, can't vouch for origin or whatever)
2) Run your ZH in XP SP3 compatibility mode if you're using a post-XP OS. (and run as admin too, just to be safe)
3) Try to avoid any other customization like maps and so, they may conflict with VRM. The install really needs to be clean.
4) Follow the instructions in the README carefully when installing.

men should i need a very big specs for my laptop to work this awesome mod ??
Did you do a clean install of ZH like I suggested? Did you set the compatibility mode? Which OS are you using? Windows 8? Did you download Zero Hour through Origin or have you pirated it? So far we can only say for certain that it works on Win 7 32 and 64 bit with regular install or TFD install.
Did you place the .big in the correct folder?

There are plenty of mirrors to choose from. It happens from time to time that they don't appear, try again.

This problem only seems to effect some people at some times. For example, it works fine for me right now. Even then, why don't you give the torrent a try?
If that doesn't work, check back in an hour or so. It seems totally random and is a failure of the moddb download system.

mine isn't working. I use compatibility xp service pack 3 and the error was no dvd-rom found.
You need to actually have the game.
I cant get service pack 3 compatibility with windows vista ultimate please help
