Command and Conquer 3: The Forgotten aims to bring back and tell the story of a fascinating faction. The Forgotten, featured in Tiberian Sun and Firestorm, are an ever-growing group of individuals afflicted with Tiberium-based illnesses. Detested, marginalized, and oppressed by the three superpowers, The Forgotten have begun to rally against GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Since their story is not featured in C&C 3, the mod aims to tell it in a compelling fashion, through a deep singleplayer campaign, unique faction composition, and engaging gameplay. The Forgotten is also the only mod to feature high-definition Full Motion Videos, just like real C&C games, that advance the story.

With just four days before the release of C&C 3: The Forgotten, we have the Veinhole Chamber--The Forgotten's superweapon--to show off. Created by the inimitable team of Tsumetai, Nielsen, and CommieDog, the Veinhole Chamber houses The Forgotten's superweapon, the Veinhole Monster from Tiberium Sun. Larvae for the monster are loaded into a missile that is launched from the Chamber. Upon impact in an enemy location, the monster buries in the ground and quickly spreads throughout the area, destroying vehicles and structures in its wake with its powerful thrashing veins.


If you're new to the mod (not a bad time to join us--you'll have a short wait until release), you can learn more about the Forgotten over on our official site. The Forgotten officially has an internal release candidate and we'll be running final tests on the mod this weekend. If all goes well, you'll have the mod on Tuesday along with a really neat launch trailer. Look for more screenshots and an interview this weekend, though and get excited. The wait is almost over!

Does the veinhole slowly die back after a set time period or does it keep expanding until the center is destroyed like in TS?

Either way it looks amazing.

thats geat! the veinhole was one of the most terryfying tiberium creatures in TS for my vehicles, this now returns!
