Carpathian Crosses - The Romanian Army in World War II This is going to be an Add-on for Red Orchestra - Ostfront '41-'45, this means you can play standard maps along with maps like Usatovo or Chisinau. We will introduce new player models, new vehicles and new weapons to the game along with additional gameplay features. Make sure to check our website over at: Or you can join in on our IRC channel at #carpathiancrosses on the irc.gamesurge.net server! While you are waiting for new media (which we plan to give out quite often), we hope you can make yourself comfortable in our forums. To continue the tradition from the RO mod times, we created an "Ideas and Suggestions" forum where you can give your input and help the mod to improve. Also, we are always looking for talented guys to help us out, if you feel you have what it needs (beside skill, time and dedication is the most important), contact us.

Report this article Carpathian Crosses: November Update

This month was our first birthday and if you look back you can see that we've come a long way and we think the road ahead isn't that long. Check out the reloading of the M95 on one of our new maps, Faleshty. On the second screenshot you can see the LMG used in the romanian Army, the ZB30.

Of course we got something for the track heads again, a commander of an R35 checking the area, maybe he spotted the 2 T26 you can see in the last picture.

kaiserpanda, its one thing to reload a stripper in a relaxed atmosphere, but another to do it under fire.
What you see in RO is most certainly a compromise.
The M95 uses en-bloc clips, so you dont have to worry too much about clumsy stripper reloading ;)

It always bothered me in Red Orcestra that they didn't use the stripper clip right in the reloading animations and instead took 4x as long as it should. Youtube.com just searched for a video realy quick and came up with this, he does it correct.
