The first open beta of Cop reloaded 0.6, please note that it is and older version of the mod that is not required to play the recents versions.

Installation:

1 - Copy "gamedata" and "bin" folders from the archive to your Call of Pripyat Directory.
(Retail directory: C:\Program Files\bitComposer Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat)
(Steam Directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ stalker call of pripyat)
2 - Check the fsgame.ltx file located in the main directory you must change:
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\
to: $game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\
Or you can also replace this file with the fs.game file from the mod archive.
3 - Choose the mod options or just run the game and enjoy !

Just delete or rename the "gamedata" folder.

Perfomances and compatibility issues:

Call of Pripyat Reloaded include a lot of new high resolution textures and graphical improvements, so you can expect around 10-15% FPS drop on some configurations, but some users report a better framerate with the mod. For thoses who have a High-end configuration, you can choose in the mod
options the hi-res version of the Atmosfear 3 skybox but I recommand a 64Bit system with -At least- 3GB of ram. I personnaly have a 32Bit System so this option in being untested. This mod is tested for the Latest (1.6.2) Patch.
If you want this mod to be compatible with a gameplay mod you really like, just ask me ! I see what I can do.

Really an excellent mod.
But. I crash whenever I go to Pripyat.
First time was when I "climbed" the ladder.
And every time since when I use the guide.
An auto save is generated so after restarting game I use that and I'm there.
try changing no-dvd =)

Edit the file how? With what data? I opened it with a Hex editor and could not immediately figure this out.
I would love to try this mod. Please be more specific in your readme.
