Sound design by sQwurm.
Sounds alright. but once again constructive criticism necessary.
It needs more of a rasp. And abit more of a ventilator/mask sound.
Actually, snorks don't have masks over their mouths, just their eyes.
yeah, but i think it need a deeper breath... that it inhales really deep and slowly blow out...sounds scarier
Sounds good.
I can alreadyimagine how it creeps me out when I explore some ruins and hear the sound of a snork in near distance.
Tone down the growl that's in there because the classic sound is mostly breathing. I'm with the idea of a ventilator breathing sound to stay true to the other STALKER games. You can hear them before they can see you so I use their sound to know what's coming. I wouldn't exactly know that this was it.
Actually, the Snorks have the mask over their nose, and eyes. :P
sounds a bit like a flesh if you ask me... I know, they sound completely different(fleshes)... but as some have said, it might confuse the player and they might get caught off guard thinking that it is a flesh, instead of a snork.
Also, if it is indeed "idle", it should probably sound a bit idler, this sounds like it's alert, or has just spotted something but isn't necessarily attacking.
Snorks. I hate Snorks...
this really sounds like a Starcraft 1 overlord :)) Is this the sound used?
