I initially had planned a quick release of a version 20c at the beginning of the year, but I kept adding more and more stuff, completely shaping it into a HUGE update, the version 21. This version has been nearly one year in the making and will be the most significant update ever made for Brutal Doom. I am almost finished with adding the new stuff I want, and soon I will release a trailer announcing the release date.

Mr.Nuke Some monsters for PB are good but the other stuff... well I OBVIOUSLY PREFER BD MANY MANY TIMES ! THANKS FOR THE GREAT MOD SGT MK IV !

Awesome) I have one little question though:
Why is the fuel/nukage in the standing barrel yellow? Please make it green again, as the flare on the wall and fuel in the carried barrel is green

yea I still think that the grenade launcher function would have been better off on the assault rifle ... given its high ROF I feel players would stick with it over the new MG especially when you duel wield the rifles.

as such since duel wielding on the pistols and smgs makes using the new MG kinda redundant I would have preferred to see the duel wielding function on the new MGs just to compensate for their slower ROF at the expense of chewing through more ammo.

Moving the grenade launcher to the assault rifle would also be alot more logical imho.

just my 2 cents make of it what you will.

also can anyone give me a info. link to the old alpha machine gun as I cant find **** on it and I didn't even know there was such a cut weapon.

It has really peeked my interest in the old doom alphas like the Tei-Tenga Incident concepts as well as this old mod based on the doom bible info.

btw I cant wait to play V21 on this mods maps >:D

This is the greatest mod ever. Please make the cars explode by shooting them with a gun (giving them health or something) and why not adding some urban-stuff pwads
Just what you did with the hell on earth starter pack ?

And give the underbarrel grenade launcher it own ammo. It feels like **** if you should waste rockets.

Brutal Doom is one of the greatest FPS mods so far !

What about the maps from the Xbox version (Sewers and Betray), the Nightmare Spectre (a new enemy from the PSX version), the Nightmare Imp (another new enemy that was present in a press-release beta version of the PSX version but was removed) and adding the environment for the expansion "No Rest For The Living"?

By the way, You've improved very much the mod, congratulations!

There is a problem with HRTF with GZDOOM where footsteps don't follow you making it sound like someone is following you which is very surreal.

I added the tank to my own mod. I love it, but I noticed some small problems.

It can not drive over those basic doom floor lamps. It can't drive over big tree stumps either. The smaller gray tree it can go through, but it makes it jump a lot.

It also seems it sometimes auto aims at the trees when you try to shoot at enemies that are behind them and on the higher levels.

The open beta is way too laggy for me, I cant even move my guy, but I am still exited for V21, but hopefully it dosent come out with the lag, hope it gets better! :)

@Sergeant_Mark_IV - Thanks a million for this! I recently tried v21 beta and its my first experience with Brutal Doom. Never played earlier versions. And let me say I've been blown away by how great this is! I'm having a blast. One of my most fun sessions was trying to beat the Suburbs level. Starting there with only the pistol. Ultra violence. Its really challenging and an AMAZING combat experience! Anyway, again, thanks a lot!

Like me, does anybody have favorite classic levels that you like to start at and try to beat. Starting with only a pistol. On at least ultra violence. My favorites right now are Suburbs, The Citadel, and Dead Simple. I'm familiar with em due to deathmatch on Playstation 1 years ago. They are really fun to try to beat from scratch starting with only a pistol and the granades that you get. Just an amazing combat experience.
