BRASS 'n' BLOOD combines two existing mods for Doom3, to make blood & bullethole decals and spent shell casings hang around for many hours, instead of vanishing within moments. Much more immersive. Credit to the original mod authors, Boglito and Burning Fish created the mods this is based on.
Someone else already "combined" them, but did a sloppy job (no shade, they were probably just in a hurry). I corrected a mistake, added a small common tweak (reduce shotgun spread, since that value exists in one of the files touched by this mod), created some documentation, and packaged everything neatly. Please see the README for more info.

- tweaked the shotgun spread (reduced by half), since this mod necessarily contains the same file containing that value (and virtually everyone wants the vanilla shotgun spread corrected).
- repackaged as .pk4 for convenience (rename to .zip and extract if you prefer, or as necessary with BFG Edition)
Kind of obvious, but this mod is "incompatible" with mods which edit the same 4 files (see README for the list) but if that's the case, it's really easy to manually apply the changes in these 4 files to your own. Kdiff3 highly recommended for file comparison and merging. I find it indispensable as a modding tool.
