Legends of the 3rd Age (formerly: Blue Wizard Mod) adds two new playable factions, Lothlorien and Moria, to The Battle for Middle-earth(tm). These factions come with a fully functional AI. It also enhances the original factions with additions and changes the gameplay. The focus here is clearly on multiplayer. Units and structures are designed to fit in the original game's style.

Tower the walls are the backdrop, or they can be separately plotted as in Gondor and Rohan?

Currently you can decide between towers and postern gates. There are wall buildplots, yes :)

What is the building at the top left corner? And why he has no shadow)?

Originally this was the stable, but now it is called the "Elder Barracks". :)

I don't know why it has no shadow, well spotted. I will look into it :)

Wont Catapults and Trebuchets be able to destroy the citadel from outside?

Maybe, but since castlefronts/castlegates usually point towards the center of the map, an assault on the citadel from behind shouldn't happen unless your enemy dominates you. ;)

All castles have the keep in the very middle for strategical reasons, so please swap middle buildspot to edge where keep now stands.

Description

After a long while, here's an update featuring the Elven castle. We want to make the Elven castle unique and we approach this by moving the citadel to the back of the castle.

Thanks to Mathijs for this brilliant artwork!

Happy Easter everyone! :)
