Legends of the 3rd Age (formerly: Blue Wizard Mod) adds two new playable factions, Lothlorien and Moria, to The Battle for Middle-earth(tm). These factions come with a fully functional AI. It also enhances the original factions with additions and changes the gameplay. The focus here is clearly on multiplayer. Units and structures are designed to fit in the original game's style.
Hey there, it's time for an update.
Rohan will get a 3rd choice when unpacking settlements, the Rohan Barracks. Big shoutout to Maximan, the maker of the BFME: Classic Edition, who mapped the Barracks structure and animated it. Also a shoutout to TheDeadPlayer, who made the Rohan Warrior model.
The Rohan Barracks has long been on my mind, but I couldn't think of a proper way to implement it. On top of this, joshua199, a follower of this mod suggested to add Rohan Soldiers as an alternative to peasants. I think I have found a pretty good solution.
Rohan Militia are slightly weaker than Gondor Soldiers, cost the same and build faster. Make sure to also check the video I made about this update: Moddb.com
Hope you like this update. I do have some time on my hands atm (despite Pokemon GO), and I intend to reveal the next faction within the next days. Taking bets naow. Note however that it is still far from being finished.
