Bellum Imperii is an complete overhaul modification for M&B: Warband. It represents ancient Europe and parts of Africa and Asia during Marcus Aurelius reign of the Roman Empire.
When I played it, it didn't look quite right. Might have been just that the map was freaking huge and everything just starts to blend together. Haven't played the updated version.
maybe you down-scaling the map would be a good idea, since it would help the ai pathfinding more and also improve the performance coz im only getting like 10-30fps in world map.
Had some attempts in the past to work on the world map, making it smaller etc. But it turns out that the Thorgim map editor can't handle the map and easily crashes. And re-making a map is hopeless, as the best way to do so is by using blender or some other kind of 3d editor. Which on alL, I have little to no knowledge about.
But, in the next patch. There will be a pretty big focus on optimisation on all aspects. From items, to scene-props to the world map itself. This includes removing the HD world map textures and Polished landscapes. Which obviously will still be around but their download will be up to each individual.
looks good
Looks pretty good, only thing that looks weird is that fountain with roof tiles
True, its improvised.
I considered it a pool
I guess you are right, guy standing there is already wearing airbed on his back
That's a scutum.
He was joking. I think what he meant is the guy standing there will float on his scutum like an ancient airbed haha.
The world map doesn't do your town justice!
What's wrong with the world map?
