Many mods for Star Wars Battlefront 2 have been about the Clone Wars. However, none have focused on the TV show like this. Great effort has been put into this era mod to make you feel like you are fighting in "The Clone Wars." It includes all the features players have come to expect from high quality era mods: New classes, AI heroes, unit models, weapons, animations and more.
And this mod includes many clone trooper legions, including the famed 501st, 327th and the 212th, as well as new clones like the Wolfpack Troopers; they are randomized from mission-to-mission, so you get a different legion every match.
The mod also features many heroes who have rarely or never been seen before. These include Ahsoka Tano, Cad Bane, Padme Amidala, Bossk, Barriss Offee and more. Plus, classic heroes done in TCW Style, like Obiwan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Assajj Ventress and more. Jedi heroes are assigned to their clone legions. But with SWBF2's hero system, only one hero is available per legion. By randomizing the heroes along side their clone legion, this will ensure that each hero will have a fair chance to command his or her troops. For example, when the 501st is the playable legion, the hero will either be Anakin or Ahsoka since they both command this legion. In addition, every clone legion has a clone "hero," like Commander Cody, Captain Rex, Commander Wolffe, and many others.
The CIS has not gone unchanged; their whole setup reflects what is seen in "The Clone Wars." Many special CIS units are randomized from mission-to-mission. For instance, one match you may have an Ultra Droideka to fight as or against and other times an Elite Commando Droid.
In addition, the stock maps have had changes. Many maps were given randomized and appropriate weather. For example, a match on Tatooine could take place in the middle of a sunny day as usual. However it could also take place in the middle of the night under the moons or during a dust storm facing the elements.
Also, probability determines the role of the Republic and CIS as either defender or attacker; the clones may invade a CIS-held Kashyyyk, or the Republic may be retaking their capital of Coruscant.
As an added bonus, Rahm Kota's Republic Militia is randomized as a "clone legion," allowing you to fight as Rahm Kota and his padawan Falon Grey before The Force Unleased. The Militia is a group of volunteer soldiers that Rahm Kota handpicked himself due to his mistrust of using clone troops.
With more surprises to come and planned expansion packs, this mod should keep you playing for a long long time...
Be sure to watch the trailer and keep an eye out for this mod in 2012.

Sure the mod looks nice, but right now it doesn't play too well. Don't fret, I'm more experienced now. I can handle this. People have to understand, when I started this mod, I had zero experience. I mean, none.
I'm going to use the development of my second mod, Battlefront 3, to my advantage. They will share a good bit of the unit layout and code. This way it's a lot more balanced, and more fun to play. This mod will differ in some ways from Battlefront 3, TCW will feel more hectic and less balanced in some ways. Battlefront 3 is all about unit balance, The Clone Wars is all about recreating the feel of the show.
The overhaul begins in the next week or so.
So what does this mean in laymans terms? Basically I'm giving the mod a makeover. It will run smoother, it won't crash as much, and the file size will be smaller. What do I ask of you for all of this? Nothing but some patience. Not much to ask, as my team and I are doing all the work. :P
Peace, and until next time, May the force be with you.

It's been a while since I was on this page, had to reinstall Windows on my comp (It's a long story) so somehow I lost my Realtek HD audio driver so I lost my "Stereo Mix" option on my devices because I didn't have Realtek. So, I have not been able to figure out why whenever I try to reinstall Realtek it gives me an error and crashes installation, I found an alternative way to play BF2 without it crashing when I pick a map (I found this off of steams forums, this may be VERY useful to you if you have a ctd issue on loading a map) If you have a mic, plug that in (I'd say this would mainly be for laptop users) for desktop: If you don't have a mic unplug your speakers and plug them into your mic port before you start up BF2. After the game loads up load your map up and replug everything back in to it's original spot (AFTER you load the map)if you don't feel like doing this every time go to options < audio < and select for audio device headphones and just plug your headphones in and you can hear the sound and you don't have to replug and do all that crap over and over.
Anyways, good luck with the rest of this mod THEWULFMAN, I really look forward to how good this will turn out!
Oh, and a question. Will there be any era compatibility with all those extra era mods and expansions out there? I can't recall if you ever answered this before but I'm just wondering.
To save the galaxy use the keybourd you must!
How many maps are you going to have on this mod?
All the vanilla maps (some have changes and/or random weather). Later I might add more maps, but only if I have the time.
Amazing mod!!! I cannot wait to play!
No updates yet?
Not yet. I've been working on it all this past week though, I promise.
