But none knew that this conflict was to be the start of a war that could soon involve others also; superpowers like Russia and the US. Blood, sweat and tears. These are the ever growing words of the population in the "hot zones", areas with strong military control and terror active areas.
Blood get spilled, people fear the enemy and they don't trust anyone anymore. You feel the tension as you step up as a rookie in this intense and modern simulation of war! Are you up for it, or will you perish under the fog of war?
The question is; which side will you choose?

Dear ModDB Community,
i write here in the name of the whole Invision Arts Development Team.
We had to kick a few members, because they weren't working and thats not the idea of Balkan Conflict.
In the meantime we are just 2 members (Dalibor B. - Development Lead; Florian L. (me) - Co Development)
Also we returned our backs to Crymod - We didn't get any good help there, so crymod isn't a official showcase of our mod any longer.
So the best decision was to pause the mod, until we get better support and new members.
We're searching for person with good knowledge at the specific area:
- Coders
- Scripters
- Animator/riggers
- Modellers
- Texture artists
- Designers
- Sound designers
- UV unwrappers/wrappers
We increase our summerbreak until we have a full development team for InvA, that means every position has one person.
So guys, if you like our mod and don't want that we stop developing for ever, please join our team.

Dont understand the point of this game, wich side are you fighting on? .. will you be able to choose? .. what conflict.. Kosovo or Bosnia, Croatia or Slovenia?? .. whos fighting who? , and will this be just a pew pew game or will it go into teh deeps of what the war REALLY was about? .. will we see people get executed for not leaving their homes?? .. theres no info about it at all, just Balkan Wars and comments about what country belongs to who.. i would do it CoD4 style.. make it Raw, and intense.. will it be challenging to play?? since the Balkan terrain is prolly one of the most advance and hard areas to create a live war in.
one more thing.. what factions or "Sides" will there be in game?

Btw i live in Novi Sad and am native-born Serb. And i am not proud of it. I am especially against killing people becuse killing is retroactive, it only brings more killings. Nothing is ever commited by killing for long time benefits.

Guess what, this mod of your require time. Probably two years. How do you think to manage 5 or more people to work for free for a month, and how for two year?
Just as you had to learn modelling you must learn about people if you ever want to create something big.
First go and apologize to all people you called bad names and help them in their endeavors and then if you care about this continue with your work.
Nobody said that mod creation is easy. 90% of all mods fails. They most fails because team split up and loose its directions.
Above all else, mod community need leaders, not directors, no egoistic boses.
Either flame me for this post (which is acceptible) or see what you can do to get this dream of yours become a reality.

Yes you had some great idea, but you do not know how to inspire people. Nobody want to work if they are not inspired by specific vision.
Man, read some books about people interaction, how to influence people and how to make them inspired. Read books on leadership. If you really want to make this you must learn the art of leadership. YOU HAD IDEA. Well everyone has idea. I HAVE IDEAS TOO. But what counts is knowledge supported by experience and directed by careful plans. Great leader must know when to lower to ball and he reaps fruit last.
