Balkan Conflict: Return of the War

A small riot is beginning to form. Governments are turned up-side down. People are scared and confused and small terror actions are advancing. A small declaration and it's all a living hell. No one know what to do. "A minor conflict", other said. But none knew that this conflict was to be the start of a war that could soon involve others also; superpowers like Russia and the US. Blood, sweat and tears. These are the ever growing words of the population in the "hot zones", areas with strong military control and terror active areas. Blood get spilled, people fear the enemy and they don't trust anyone anymore. You feel the tension as you step up as a rookie in this intense and modern simulation of war! Are you up for it, or will you perish under the fog of war? The question is; which side will you choose?

i write here in the name of the whole Invision Arts Development Team. We had to kick a few members, because they weren't working and thats not the idea of Balkan Conflict. In the meantime we are just 2 members (Dalibor B. - Development Lead; Florian L. (me) - Co Development) So the best decision was to pause the mod, until we get better support and new members.

Dear ModDB Community,

i write here in the name of the whole Invision Arts Development Team.

We had to kick a few members, because they weren't working and thats not the idea of Balkan Conflict.
In the meantime we are just 2 members (Dalibor B. - Development Lead; Florian L. (me) - Co Development)

Also we returned our backs to Crymod - We didn't get any good help there, so crymod isn't a official showcase of our mod any longer.

So the best decision was to pause the mod, until we get better support and new members.
We're searching for person with good knowledge at the specific area:

  • Coders
  • Scripters
  • Animator/riggers
  • Modellers
  • Texture artists
  • Designers
  • Sound designers
  • UV unwrappers/wrappers

We increase our summerbreak until we have a full development team for InvA, that means every position has one person.

So guys, if you like our mod and don't want that we stop developing for ever, please join our team.

All mods start with a small team.

That is the best way that things get done. Pausing a mod just because you cant have progress 24/7 in every department just does not seem right to me.

Enjoy your break though.

thx for your comment! We have no progress since 4 - 5 Months, so it was not a easy decision and we have patience! But if nobody was working the whole 5 months, we cannot go this way any longer and so we search a new team.
