This is unrelated but could you change the Dry reload animation for the pistol, all weapons should take longer to reload dry which get's the player to reload early ingame. There's a dry half-life pistol slide animation floating around on the internet. Also when will the content be released so players can make custom maps?
I'll check these animations, but I'm not sure if it's really needed, bdef is used to be a fast and dynamic shooter. I remember request to make crossbow reload animation faster, cause it took a real long time earlier.

The "content" he is probably referring to would be the .fgd file, so that he can run Hammer properly without reverse-engineering your changes. If I remember right, you once said it would be included in the next release.

I'll check how it will look, but dynamic lights are dropping fps a lot.
I think it'll be like 8 burning monsters and then slide show begins.
