Hello, guys!

Glad to tell that update is close to release, but I need your help.

I need ideas for new skills (spells), a lot of ideas. What can be useful in battle?

This is last thing I want to make in this update and I'm out of ideas for that thing.

The best ideas will be in next update.

Wow. This mod reminds me the Quake1 - Project Moon mod.
For new ideas I suggest to play that game. If monsters destroy the "crystal", the game is over... Would be good to add it to this mod.

If by Open Source you mean free for other mappers to map for, a little reverse-engineering provides all the information you need to map for the mod. I have a 1650 map completed already and am only waiting for this update to release. Modders are essentially just hackers anyway, and you can't keep a good one down. No matter how hard you try. Or else non of us would be here...

I need to take a look at your map, cause 1700 have a lot of rewritten code and doesn't compatible with 1650 maps.

I didn't figure it would be compatible, hence my with-holding of my work. Once the new release is out, I can make the necessary changes and throw it out there.

Great mod, really made the traditional Half-life mechanics feel modern in-tune with the Horde-style systems we see in most shooters and stays fun throughout. Alot of balance problems though, most noticeably the AI-pathfinding which is so horrendous at finding players hiding in spots that its game-breaking at times. However with 4 players running around the map proper, its a blast.
