Description

so... I finally found a way to solve the floating text box for the general's biographical information. the down-side is that it will always end up covering up the general's portrait.

however, a lot of the generals simply don't have photographs available for free use (or at all!). I was using national flags or roundels as a substitute for a true portrait. so, I think it makes more sense to discard the video-portraits used in the WW2 Metagame altogether.

I find the prospect of having more generals available, with a thumbnail biographical sketch for each, to be of more benefit to gameplay in WW2.

the way the game is set up we can't expand the game THIS much and keep all of the original animated eye-candy.
