Seems like the Japanese mission would be a piece of cake; the AI is horrible at amphibious invasions.

yeah, the AI just doesn't make the best use of battleships. I've got some trigger-based solutions for that problem that I think will work. it won't be so easy for Japan as you think. I will also have Japan starting off with Henderson Field already having been captured by the United States.

Description

the original Guadalcanal map was ridiculously easy-- and you'd never get the impression that it was a month's long see-saw battle for the island. I also disliked the fact that there was no Japanese version of the game. so I've created a new map that will host both American and Japanese versions. what you see here is a test run of the American version.

it also highlights one of the new special ops: "Sniper Ambush"
