the Falschirmjaeger Automatic Rifle regiment now features new weapons models. the CO has been upgraded into a sniper-style infantry unit. this was done to help prevent the SAS regiments from steam-rolling over these expensive regiments during combat. if the regiments are not entrenched or upgraded the SAS will usually have the upper-hand. once the German regiment is fully upgraded, however, it proves a worthy match for the SAS. this regiment will require "Automatic Rifle" tech to be researched before players can recruit it.
Is this unit self sufficent of supplys?
Now that I look at the STG 44 again, maybe we should darken it a little?
It seems a little too light in color compared with the automatic rifle.
May want to make it a tad bit smaller, also.
this not the Brandenburger regiment-- but they will look very similar. I was thinking that the guns are a little too light when I posted the pictures-- I'll darken them up later. they're too hard to see like this.
It says FG42 assault rifle but they have mp44? :-D
And what about some late 44ยด brown-green and not green uniform?
yeah, I didn't rename it to the Stg.44-- but that's an easy fix. making the weapon darker shouldn't be a problem. the uniform was based on reading books-- not actual imagery of uniforms. fortunately infnatry skins are pretty easy to fix.
this regiment will not generate it's own supply field. neither will the Brandeburger Regiment.
Me-262?
Maybe change the helmets to the ones falschirmjagers wore?
