The Germans made extensive use of decoy factories and airfields to thwart Allied strategic bombing. These will hopefully get used in a Operation Tidal Wave where American players have to destroy Romanian oil refineries. Players would also have to contend with Bulgarian, German, and Romanain fighters and counter-attacks. (as a reminder, the SP campaigns will not be included with the alpha-release)
So basically these things can be use as defense turrets right?
BTW can the division hq decoy building provide extra area?
yeah, they're just big bunkers designed to look like more valuable and vulnerable division tents.
they don't extend your friendly supply lines right now-- that seemed like too much of a good thing! I guess it would work better as a decoy if it did, though. I guess I could increase the build-cost and that could even out.
I'm curious about how the AI handles these?
the AI loves to attack them! sometimes the ground forces will bypass them and attack real buildings but when it comes to airstrikes the AI can't seem to tell the difference.
since they're just a regular bunker type I'm sure I'll see the AI building them at some point in the future.
