Axanar: Strategic Operations is a mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that totally converts it to the universe of the recent fan movie Axanar, based on star trek.
Ah great, the Daedalus class. Very nice. Not the same TOS design, where the deflector dish is placed at the front of the engineering section like the Constitution class. Besides the engineering sections seems to be similar to the one of the Asia class. The sphere looks also more like the one from the Olympic class. Nevertheless, good model.
There is not really a canon picture and the one that does doesnt even have a deflector. the only 'canon' appearance was Siskos model on a desk, which can be said might not be 100% acurate.
Good to know. I was referring to it in more of an art asset type of way. To be used as reference material were it applicable, but you guys have it all squared away in any case.
The model looks amazing! It looks like you took a few elements from Ships of the Line.

Didn't these also make an appearance in Star Trek Legacy? Though I'm still not sure if that game is considered canon.
They did but they squanderd/ruined that by making them a hospital ship that only appear in one mission.
In ASO it will be a Scout.

I'm not seeing the similarities myself, beyond the obvious fact that they both use spherical primary sections instead of saucers.
Yesh, I don't know why, but both Daedalus and Olympic classes somehow please my eyes.
