Nice, I like how the SD tilts over so you can easily tell that t has been destroyed. If I might suggest, maybe make the SD fall a bit lower so it doesn't get in the way as much.
We will have three variants of deathclones for the bigger ships. So the other ones dont hold themself so long in space. :)
Well, nice eye candy, but a bit too long the death clone. The animation until he breaks and explodes takes longer than the attack to destroy him, to my taste. ;)
Thanks for the reply, it was our intention to make long deathclones for bigger capitals, we also adding different variants, a drifting one, a diving one and one thats breaks apart.
Oh and i just recorded the video some moments before the ship gets destroyed, it took some time to bring a ISD down. :)
Very nice death clone animation!
Although there is one thing that is off in my opinion: the right hand side main engine is out - or stuttering - but instead of turning right because of the missing engine the ISD turns left.
But this could be easily "fixed" by making the leftmost engine stutter instead.

Very nice work, the timed explosions really add to the deathclone. They're a pain to make, but well worth it for the end result. The only thing that did kind of bother me is that the ISD was turning in the direction that the engines would not make it turn towards, since the right engine was shut down, it wouldn't turn left, but right instead. Other than that amazing work!
Were those escape pods I saw shooting out of it just when it started to blow?

The escape pods are an amazing addition! They do, however, launch too quickly after the destruction of the ship, even more so if you consider how long the death clone lingers. Would it be possible to delay them or spread them throughout the death clone's animation?
