Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. now the rebel-ships? awesome!
So...release maybe next year or something? How close would you say you guys are? Cause it's been a while.
They've said that hopefully soon
sooner than you think, but not to soon
Asking modders for release dates ... You should know better, Vader
You too! I'm part of your beta test group and it feels about ready for at least a demo!
I only say this because its been years now. There hasnt even been a demo or beta.
Nice profile, I love Y-wings they are my favorite Starfighter and am amazed at how useful they are, also any reason why the Cloakshape and Toscan fighters got cut from the Rebel roster, they are so common and cheap to buy that they are just perfect as Rebel fighters, also any plans to add other fighters from the X-wing games I would love to see the Preybird fighter as it is solid choice in Thrawn's Revenge when playing as the Remnant
Cloakshapes and Toskans just didn't feel Rebel enough. They still use the R41, Twing, and Z95 since they were specifically mentioned in lore material.
So what kind of ships would suit the Rebellion, I honestly am not sure, also if they can't build Toscans or Cloakshapes then why do they start with some, honestly I would replace those with R41 Starchasers and T-wings, also what about the Preybird it was a Surosubb made fighter and the Sullestans and Surosubb supplied Dauntless Crusiers and Quaser Carriers, are Preybirds out of a possibility also what units can we expect to get from Black Sun missions
I love the Y-Wing, particularly the OT-era ones with the exposed components. It perfectly exemplifies the resource-strapped Rebellion and their willingness to use just about any ship they could get their hands on. You really get the impression that these things have been modified and jury-rigged over the years just to stay in one piece, yet they still manage to keep on ticking in spite of everything they've been through.
Oh good, This is back. Can't Wait to see future Fighter Of The Day Posts!
