Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

the ai just sit there doing NOTHING they dont move fight build upgrade nothing its REALLY annoying and i would really like to know how to fix this

Experiencing the same issues, nothing I've tried seems to stick. They don't retreat or even fight whenever I attack them.

same here just that i have version 2.5 me thinks but the ai never worked for me i dont know why

Just got the Mod today i thought the Rebels were building a giant fleet and i soon realized they were doing completely nothing.

Do u start the Mod with the Icon?

If you mean with the icon for the mod, that's what I've been doing. I tried it a few different ways, by using Steam, the mod's icon, W/O Steam - Hell I've even had the issue on GOG's version of the game.

Have u seen that Installation Tutorial?

....Any one have a solution to this besides "Have u seen that installation tutorial?". I have seen it several times and done exactly what it said to do.
My situation:
steam version
Aotr has worked on my computer for years. I had 2.6 running since it was released
No other Mods for Eaw have been installed at any point on this computer
All of a sudden the game started failing on start up with something about Parse Errors, but it I hit ESC it continues to load and goes to the menu. Can load a new game but AI will not work
Uninstalled entire mod and game, re-installed, but having the same issue
I have checked the files and everything seems to be in the right place, with the steam launch options correct.

Any actual tips would be very appreciated
