I'm at the end of my tether with this issue. I'm running into an absolutely ridiculous problem where it's taking an insane amount of time to either create or overwrite a Save File in AOTR 2.8

When I first started a new campaign as the Rebellion, the first time I'd come back to this game in the better part of a year, I was having save times of, at most, a minute. But earlier today it took over 20 minutes to make a save, and just now I waited OVER AN HOUR for a save to complete, and in the end I grew so frustrated that I just had to hard restart my computer, as the mod absolutely refuses to let me minimize the screen while it's in the middle of saving, thus rendering my computer completely unusable until it finishes.

This has been going on for the better part of a month now, with some saves going quickly, others taking upwards of half an hour, and some taking so long that I just have to give up and do the hard restart, thus corrupting the save. PLEASE, I need help with this! I like the mod, truly I do, but this issue is so bad it's making it effectively unplayable! JUST WHAT IS GOING ON?!
