Assault Coop Mod is back in action and revamped! Here is some gameplay of the new version of my mod Assault Coop v3.0 for Far Cry. Version 2.1 was scraped and sadly lost in a broken laptop... So i started from the old pieces and came back! This footage was taken from the client side on a dedicated server. So what you see is what you play :D
The original FC single player campaign is on its way and additional maps are coming as well. These maps here are just demo maps to test out my mod which only took me like at most 10 minutes for each.
This versioin is far more optimized and customizable for coop mappers than the previous versions. I have created at least 15+ simple logic triggers that can control spawn/trigger events on the maps.

i'm basically done with the scripting part. Now i'm doing custom maps, editing the farcry sp campaign for coop, and beta testing with friends at my school. there is much progress :D
Will this allow me to play the single player campaign coop on my LAN?
I'm basically testing it on dedicated servers and it works well so far. So yea you'd be able to play LAN. I tested a custom map I made (built in 9 hours or so) yesterday with 2 friends and we had an awesome time! there were about 6 objectives we had.
1.clear out the houses of enemies
2.clear out the storage of enemies
3.clear out the construction site
4.defeat the boss
5.survive the horde until the helicopter arrives
6.run to the chopper
If you make the singleplayer campaign coop, I will kiss you.
