Alternate Warfare is a Total Conversion on C&C3 engine, the background story is set in the Cold War era in a different timeline, in which the experimental weapons that never practically saw service are granted a chance to prove themselves in the battlefield. As the Commander, you will have to battle through a series of campaigns dating from regional conflict in the 70s to a full-scale nuclear war in the mid-90s, make use of these new weapons wisely in order to emerge victorious in this Alternate Warfare.

Description

General Point System came out in C&C:Generals at first time, and then used in BFME and RedAlert3. it is regrettable that it were not used in C&C3. But This MOD has implemented it in C&C3. Notes: 1. This MOD is related to the Alternate Warfare mod(which will use this system). 2. This MOD is still being tested, Only GDI side has this system. 3. For stability, it's only using original specialpowers existed in C&C3 for now, including NOD and SCRIN's powers and neutral EMP. No balance consideration at this moment. 4. After getting in the game, General Point Menus is in the second tab of Suppert Building. (as shown in pics) There are 3 types of General Skills, such as intelligence, attack and reinforcement. Destory your enemies, and get your specialpowers when you level up, just like in Generals. 5. Because of the limit of this game engine, the system cann't be imitated completely(i.e.not using "points"). The skills will cost credits.

very interesting i hope you implement it in you mod.
That you buy the abilities with credits adds more strategy in my opinion, do i build more units or do i buy that ability.
the more you need to think about what you're going to do, the better.

That at least prevents enemies from damn near spamming with support powers.
