There are always few of them who left for you
In the middle of the 21th Century, the humanity has found an alien space ship which contained the advanced technology of instant moving by creating inter-dimensional breaches. The UHN has instantly sent their best scientists to understand and reproduce this technology. After few years, the humanity could now be able to explore the entire universe !
Armed with powerful and modern weapons created by the newly formed United Human Nations, the player must battle his way against the hostile alien life and defend the flag of the Humanity on the exoplanet Krona, the symbolic planet of the UHN's successful colonisation of the universe !
The player incarnate an elite soldier who find himself in the middle of the Krona's desert with no ideas of how he get there and only few chaotic reminds of what he was doing before. Even if it's mostly seems he has being teleported there, he will have to find a way about how he can leave this place and join Krona Polis, the main town build by humans on Krona and which is in a general alert of an alien invasion !
This is for now only a single player mod, but an extension who will brought the multiplayer and the cooperation feature is also planned as well.
Quickly, here are a few things that set Alien Wave apart :
- New funny and powerful weapons > STRIKER, 357 MAGNUM, EXPLOSIVE CROSSBOW, AR45, LASER RIFLE, PULSE SNIPER...
- 2 different gameplay experiences : The Krona Campaign and the Alien Survival maps
- Each campaign map is giving you an unique playing experience with different environments, and most of them are open space
- Excepted the original HL2 aliens, you will also find few one made by my self.
- I created new HD (2048x2048) textures and models to obtain an original visual experience
- A new sound track, with many custom musics and ambient sounds
- Many features as the third person view, iron sight, alien gibs, CS weapon management style, head bob... are in the mod

It is now more than a month that the full mod is available to download. Despite all my attention and my tests, there was some bugs and gameplay problems which was still left, and since the release of the mod, I did my best to fix it. Today, even if some minor bugs may still occur the mod is mostly free from errors.
While the main campaign is completed, I still have many maps and content on my computer that I had decided to cut during the development of the mod because I knew it would be taking to me too much time to implement it. However, now that I am done with the main campaign, I can try to finish this cut content and to add it to the mod as a "Secondary Campaign" in order to extend the gaming experience and the life time of the mod, so that it could reach about two hours of playing ! I shall post some screenshots of the work in progress soon.
Else, the mod is now available and supported on Desura, so if you have this platform installed you can directly install and play my mod !

My only gripe is the view bob. I actually just had to take a Gravol. Heh...
looks like Starship Troopers, they need to get to whiskey outpost and then they are rescued. Sounds cool
I am planning about making an alien survival map where you are in a small fortress with few allies and where antlions are invading you, like in Startship Trooper !
I am also thinking about adding big spiders in the next version :)
False Alarm, It turns out the Mod won't install. Can you give me just the Zip File? I'll make custom maps for Ground Complex instead. :D
Nevermind, got it to work again. I probably look like a moron.
I really enjoy this mod, so i'm actually making my own custom Maps for it. :D
