Airsoft source is a half-life 2 modification about airsoft.
We came up with this id because there isnt any released airsoft mod yet.
Airsoft source will be a team-based fps with upgradable armory.
Every player will have the same amount of AUS at the beginning, due to rise at the end.
Aus are the point for you armory, the more aus you have the more you can upgrade your weapon with stuff like, bipods, grenade launchers, red dots, silencers, ...
The maps will be mostly wide open areas with allot of junk.
Their will be 1 map at night (as_nightskirm)

Nice, an airsoft mod, I'll be especially looking forward to this. Also I agree with the australian guy, there need to be lots of variety especially accessory wise. It'd be interesting to see how many people playing the mod choose an M4, I'm sick of seeing those in RL. To MXdude, there are enough paintball mods as it is and airsoft is a lot less flashy and offers a tactical experience. Best of Luck!
Airsoft game, magnificent. Filling a new gap in the market.
I think Airsoft would be easier then Paintball, plus it's not been done yet. Plus everyone seems to go "sport" with paintball (ie. Airbarriors and colorfull uniforms). People with airsoft havent pussied out like that yet, Usualy more tactical/swat style tactics and dark/cammo clothing. I like the idea, upgrade system to team-based combat. The first airsoft game will not be the last.
Hey, i was wondering why you didnt go for paintball. I think that it would be much easier, but i guess you wanted to do something different. Looks cool by the way. Ill try it :)
Believe it or not - but airsoft is illegal where i am in australia (in some areas ure allowed a bolt-action rifle!!! WOW!!!.....)
BUT, stand aside our **** goverment, i think this game could be fun. kinda a non-leathal CS
Make sure you have LOTS of different guns. i love games with STACKS of choice.

Atleast try to have some form of proper grammar/grammer when you post a mod. It is not like talking on msn, IRC or any other Instant messenger. Just take your time before posting. All of our teams news is done by someone who's 1st or 2nd language is english and it looks better Then this.
