So here is the Thread for bugs and issues you have found, be it collisionproblems or any other glitches, feel free to share.
We have some on our list but having now more testers to walk around we'd definitely like to hear your feedback :)

dremth just sent me his feedback, i'll post my answer to it, not that we have the same bugs all over again :)

ok some feedback i got via pm

1) I'd like to start with the most annoying bug. When you are up against a wall the camera will zoom in to where it is basically first person. If you are in a corner when this happens, the camera will effectively get stuck until you back out of the corner.

2) If you wait long enough, the old man will stop walking up and down the dock and will basically stay in one small area. If you go talk to him, you see this:

3) Occasionally, after you end a conversation with the old man, when you regain control the camera will be high in the sky until you move.

In this screenshot I also highlighted the fact that the "Lighting needs to be rebuilt." Also, after you approach the man the first time and it tells you to "Press B to talk," it pretty much never goes away no matter how close or how far you are from the old man.

4) I'm not sure if you were supposed to be able to use the pogo stick before you actually got it, but you can. It can also get you to some places that you were probably not supposed to be able to get to.

5) When you kick one of the mice things, he will still play his animation and sounds on the ground. Sometimes the level will spawn with one or two of the mice things already dead.

6) There are several places that look like you should fall, but you don't.

7) There are a few places that have some invisible wall issues. One particularly bad spot I've highlighted in the screen:

I was being stopped by the wall while I took the screenshot. The majority of the issues are will that rail system.

8) Up where the plane is you can fall through the floor slightly. Just walk up the ramp and keep going straight.

4. its not a but, its a feature, if you couldn't got there we wouldn't need to model the roofs, because i guess they won't be visible ^^
5. yeah that part is stil lvery buggy we know that
6. yep already on my list, ist more a graphical issue then a bug, there just needs to be a finer webbing inbetween
7. my bug, gonna fix it, i ran over the rails and had no problems so i checked it in, will fix that
8. yes we know that i just forgot to fix it :/
9. its intentional, the idea behind that will come clear with the next quest :)

thank you very much, some nice things we didn't find, and also phew now real showstoppers, most stuff should be easy to fix :D

i do have a question
i tried a view thing starting the game, by the instructions: the game starts with the airborn screens and ends at the ut3 menu which wants a cd key from me, but i bought the game on steam so i don't have a cd key

i tried to start it by adding "-applaunch 13210 -mod=..\airborn" behind the ut3 nexus (that's the way i'm playing other mods): i do see the airborn screens and it ends at the ut3 menu. it's the same menu like ut3 and i start a campaign. i load the map and i'm playing a engine test map with a globus in the middle of the room and it stucks there.

what did i wrong? does any one have experience with steam and airborn?

I've got the same problem as Held though I'm not using the steam version. I might try using the steam version, after all I registered the key with steam, too.

Nope, same problem with steam: I get the right splash screen and I have the right character but I don't get the right maps.
Nevermind just found out I was lacking the "DM-000?game=Airborn.Airborn" part when I adjusted the shortcut - it wouldn't let me edit it normally since it pointed to a non-existing file and I had to copy it from the readme, yet I forgot that part.

@held: did you follow the instructions in the readme? just copy airborn into your ut3 root and then follow the instructions, it should work then

sure, but if i follow the instructions, ut3 wants a cd key. i bought the game on steam so i don't have a key. whatever, i'am waiting for the final version of the mod ..

Just tried the latest build (I think it was anyway :P)
Extremely impressive design, art and modelling. This looks really promising!

Some bugs and issues I had:

I found the jumping physics to be terribly awkward. Just didn't feel natural at all and somewhat difficult to control.
Collision in general is spotty in places. Post-kicked cats lying around the floor are a prime example. As are the rails on the pier.
Not being able to climb up ladders is weird.
Physics on kicked cats is wonky. Sometimes kicks just don't register. Also sometimes the cats get stuck on scenery and deform badly.
Sometimes if you fail the seagull mission you can't restart it / use won't work on your granddad. Sometimes the "press x" to chat to granddad just stays on-screen even if you are far away from the man.
Sometimes when respawning your character will stay invisible until you press a button.

I know these sound like a lot of problems, but I realise the game is in early development and as said at the start my first impression is a very positive one. Maybe some of these bugs haven't been mentioned yet.
A truly beautiful game.

held really from my experience airborn never asks for a cd key, could you send me a screenshot so i can see whats going on and how it looks?

@dub: thanks for the feedack:
-the jump is pretty much fixed now, from what i see its mostly the animation thats wonky at one point where the arms get pushed back very fast in one frame, that makes it look like stopping in the air from behind, in our build its better but not perfect. the thing is, n unreal its not one animation its 4 and its pretty hard to synch them as our system is a bit different to UT3s, in UT3 the charatcer just lifts up in the air and is therefore more floating then jumping, and we wanted to have a better jumping feel, but i agree it needs mre work
- collision is fixed so far
- ladders... we have ladders? am i missing something o_O Will be removed, from what i remember we said, no ladders, sorry for that i understand the confusion
- physics of tokachu are beeing adressed, he won't be dead in the next version and plays an anim instead
-quest bug: we are trying to reproduce it, thanks
- yep we know, but we don't know how to change that as we spawn him with unreal native kismet commands, nothing fancy

We are well aware of how much (or few) the game offers so far, especially about the bugs, most have been adressed so far but some are really hard to get to as we are only able to script (not code) and only have a very limited amount of freetime to work on that project :)

ok, it was my fault: i didn't follow the instructions, cause i played some other ut3 mod which will be installed on a different way. normaly i install mods in ducuments/my games/ unreal tournament and playing the mods by adding "Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 13210 -mod=..\xxx " to the shortcut. i've installed the mod like the other mods and as i started the mod, the airborn splashscreen appeared but the normal ut3 game started.

i've just read your readme after "- Installation Guide for Steam Users - ". there is only written how to start the mod by adding a new path to the shortcut and so i've installed the mod like the others. i didn't read the whole readme :(

whatever, i installed the mod in "Steam\steamapps\common\unreal tournament 3 " and it works fine
