Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.
A small group of starfleet vessels were ambushed by an awaiting Romulan taskforce. As the starfleet fleet warped in to send relief supplies to the planet a Taskforce of Romulan ships were hiding in the magnetic fields at the poles, as the ships lowered their shield for transports the Romulan commander ordered a volley of nuclear torpedoes, destroying 2 NX-classes and 1 Neptune in the process, the Daedalus vessels tried to make an escape but before they could reach the edge of the gravity well they were intercepted by the task force. Only 1 Daedalus escaped...
Interesting. Are those drones or fighters?
small patrol frigates, the same as the sabre or the b'rell in STA3
Earth-Romulan War era frigates. Obsolete by the 23rd Century but still in service in a patrol role.
Okay, thanks!
beautiful!
I second that!
That green glow's green is just perfect mint!
Those are beautiful renditions of the old stuff from the Starfleet Museum! I had long ago lost hope I'd ever see those amazing ships rendered and used in a more modern way - thank you SO much for making one of my Trek dreams come true with this one.
Any chance we'll see an Asia, Lancaster, Farragut, or other classes from Museum?

As this had been already successfully introduced in Axanar:SO back in the day and has been mentioned here several times (iirc), it is only logical to eventually include it in this mod's ship roster.
Please don't die of excitement. :)
Oh, I had seen some of the others, but I didn't notice that they had done the Cabbage/Clavicle variety from the Starfleet museum. Just being enthusiastic, even if it's a logical or predictable decision, I'm more happy than surprised.
i never a fan of the Romulan Star trek Armada UI. color was ok but the UI never felt like Romulan UI i guess i got to used to the UI change in STO.
