Delete any preexisting Expanded Mod folders, then extract the contents of the archive into your /steamapps/common/age of mythology/mods folder.

- Cut down on the Shrine technologies (removed Demigod's Blood, Ubermenschian Stamina, Third Eye, Mysticism) also various cost changes (re: cheaper or redistributed costs onto food and or wood and adjustments too lazy to mention.

Atlantean
- No longer has access to Draft Horses, Immortality or Horsemanship.

Greek
- No longer have access to Bloodlines, Medicine or Immortality.
Norse

- Ballista Towers now fire Ballista Bolts again.
- Wall Connectors no longer show they have an attack.
- All Fortresses and Towers have their damage against ships restored at a x2 multiplier.
- Flaming Shot now costs 200w, 100g. Still adds x4/x2/x1.5 bonus vs ship multipliers to towers, fortresses and siege weapons
- Slave Markets now costs 50f, 50g and takes 10 seconds to research.

- All Spies (except Areani) now classified as AutoUpgradedUnits. Spies and Areani now have a x5 damage bonus vs Heroes.
- Pure Breeds, Provisions, and Supply Lines now researched at the Library instead of at Military Buildings.

- Siegecraft now exclusively affects Villagers now. Bonus against siege weapons/buildings changed to x2.5. Costs 200f, 300g now instead of 250f, 250g.
- Golden Fleece now has much more food available, and has large berry bushes instead of normal ones and Silver Mines instead of Copper Mines. The Golden Fleece unit can also no longer be placed unto boats, and shares it's LOS with everyone.
- Heroic Age and Mythic Age: All Myth Units get 10%/15% hitpoints and 10%/15% damage for standard attacks.
- Added retexture variations (black sheep and brown sheep) for Sheep
- Olive Trees now have icons, improved models and textures, and are now animated like all trees.
- Fixed Musk Ox turning into their caravan variation when attacking.
- Added Egyptian, Norse and Atlantean variations of the Brazier, fixed name, added an icon and added history file.
- Transport Ships now have Garrison Buttons and can be garrisoned properly now.
- Every Major God has access to a new, second major god technology in the Heroic Age, these are as follow:
-- Zeus has Atreidean Dynasty: improves the attack and speed of your heroes.
-- Poseidon has Lord of the Sea: improves your Fishing Ships, Caravans and Transport Ships to be faster, gather more and be cheaper.
-- Hades has Feast of Hades: Shades gain additional attack, bonus attack vs. myth units, and additional hitpoints.
-- Ra has Embalming Oils: Academy and Migdol units (except Pharaoh's Chosen Generals) return some gold on death.
-- Isis has Khoiak Festivals: Priestesses gain greater armour, attack range, line of sight and conversion range. As well as the ability to convert human soldiers.
-- Set has Rabidry: Animals of Set gain additional speed, attack faster, summon faster and take up less population.
-- Odin has Pillage: Hand Cavalry generate gold when fighting, and gain bonus damage vs buildings.
-- Thor has Dwarven Siege Engineers: Siege Units are cheaper, have faster projectile speed and gain additional range.
-- Loki has Hersething: Hersir and Foringi have additional attack, train faster and are more resistant to pierce attacks.
-- Kronos has Kronia: Myth Units attack and recharge faster.
-- Oranos has Ivory Palaces: Human Soldiers train slightly faster, and military buildings (except walls, naval shipyards, palaces, and towers) are built faster.
-- Gaia has Aquaducts: Farms are built faster and cost less.
- Wheelbarrow now costs 150f, 50w, 20 seconds to research.
- Handcart costs 300f, 100w, 30 seconds to research. Now increases carry capacity by 15/20/20.
- Map Making/Military Foresight no longer affects villager LOS.
- Tracking and Falconry now affects Villager Line of Sight. Tracking now increases the LOS of Scouts by +4 instead of +2.
- Harter's Folley now increases LOS of scouts by 8 instead of 2.
- Added Beech Trees (based on the Alpha Oak Trees) and Big Cypresses (basically a remade upscale of the greek attachment cypresses based on the mediterranean cypress)
- Reworked Incendiary Pigs, they are now basically Petards that are only good against units (especially elephants and cavalry) and no longer have a lifespan.
- Herdable Water Buffalo no longer die automatically, changed a bunch of flags and stats so they function as a proper herdable unit as well (i.e much less hitpoints and armour)
- Toned down a lot of ambient sounds.
- Replaced the Naval Shipyard's selection/build sound as it was too raw and loud.
- Shipwright removed, it's effects have been given to Dry Docks. Removed Dry Docks increased Dock/Naval Shipyard repair rates. Now costs 400w, 400g.
- Layered and Enclosed Decks now cost Wood/Gold instead of Food/Wood.
- Removed Mythical Training; the effects of Mythical Training have been merged into Fanaticism.
- Marching has now been split into two technologies, Marching which improves the speed of Barracks Infantry, and is available to everyone except the Atlanteans.
-- And Aristocracy, which increases the speed of Academy units, and is available to the everyone but the Norse. Costs 200g, takes 30 seconds to research.
- Added Hyraxes, basically they're monkey variants balance-wise for non-Savannah Desert maps.
Atlantean
- Removed Celeres, Praetorian, Aquiliarius, Vexillarius and Extraordinarius from standard gameplay.
-- Klibanophroi inherit the Celeres Trident, and anti-armored unit bonuses.
-- Noble Cavalry inherit the anti-siege and anti-cavalry archer bonuses.
- Removed Colonists, they only really existed because of the expanded building lists, however since a couple of buildings were removed, they no longer serve a purpose. Cope and Sneed.
- Slightly respeced Secuitore, now closer to the Greek Somatophylax and correctly has an attack bonus against hyper-infantry (Phalanx, Retirarius, etc)
- Overhauled Ouranos' Clibannari, they now function akin to AoE2 Paladins as a fast and heavy cavalry unit, are cheaper but have less hitpoints, and armour.
- Cuirassiers no longer deal Trample Damage, now cost 70f, 35g, have 15% pierce armour.
- Arcuballisters are now a Mythic Archer instead of a Heroic Archer. Now fire their bolts in a straight line. Now have less range/LOS, +1 damage.
- Arcus/Arcus Heroes now have more range/LOS.
-- These were done as Archers historically had more range, and could fire faster than Crossbowmen.
- Contarius (and Heros) now have +5% pierce armour (at 20%)
- Cursarius now have -5% pierce armour (at 15%) and no longer have a bonus against Infantry, instead their bonus against heroes has been increased to x2.5.
- Areani now have 25%/25% armour now.
- Katoballistae no longer have a unintentional multiplier negative bonus.
- Analog Computing now costs 200g, 50w. No longer make Siege Biremes and Biremes faster, and instead increases train times by 15% instead of 10%.
- Atlantean Court now costs 200g but the hack damage amount has been decreased to 15% from 20%.
- Fundibalarius now have 10%/20% armour, now cost 55w, 30g.
- Klibanophoroi now inherit the Celeres' anti-siege/armored unit bonuses, trident, and have had their textures updated to also look more distinctly Atlantean (and add a Bronze unupgraded variant)
-- Now available in the Heroic Age, has 170 hp, 12 second recharge, 7 base attack and 32 charge attack, cost 95f, 55g, 35%/35%/80% armour, 10 LOS, and 5.8 speed.
- Dominates now boost human soldiers instead of heroes and myth units again. Updated textures to be more unique, hq and stylistically fitting to the game and Atlanteans.
- Fixed an old, hidden goof where Citizens were faster than other villagers despite their gimmick needing them to be slower.
- Gaia's Channels no longer affect Fishing Ships nor Caravans, costs 85g instead of 100g.
- Roararii are now comparable to Egyptian Spearmen in terms of stats, they however do not get an attack bonus vs Cavalry.
- Economic Guilds now have their proper icons restored, these were located in textures/icons but were never used despite being finished.
- Fixed Augur Helmet
- Anchors and Improved Harpoons now affected by Gaia's bonus.
- Moved the Pikeman and Jaguar Warrior to the Military School, they are now affected by the Levy/Conscript Military School too.
- Redesigned Lacquerius (again) they now return back to their "elite, trash infantry" roots, and loose their anti-cav/anti-infantry bonuses (as they were basically diet Fanatics otherwise)
- Evocatus lose their Javelin throw ability, this is now exclusive to the Legionarius.
Chinese
- Now get a new culture gimmick, buildings cost 10% more wood, cost 10% less gold.
- Town Centers now cost 350w, 350g, and gain +2 range, +25% hitpoints and +25% attack, this is because the Ancient Chinese were slow expanders for most of their history (until the Han Dynasty) but generally kept a hold on their cities.
- Now start with 150f, 100g, and 200w.
- No longer have access to Storage Pits, now use Mining Camps, Lumber Camps and Granaries instead, these cost 40w each.
- Outlaws and Compunction return from earlier versions.
- Removed Peasant Infantry from RM gameplay. Qiang Spearman now Archaic.
- Five Grains now costs 200g instead of 100w, 100g.
- Oracle Bone Script now correctly affects Peasant Barracks exclusively now.
- Added Siege Crossbow, which function similar to the Petrobolos, but with one bolt per attack (10pierce, 33crush damage)
- Added Repeating Ballista, a fast firing Ballista-type unit that is only good against infantry, archers, ships and other siege weapons.
Egyptian
- Re-added Horse Archers (previously Cavalry Archers) now have standard/medium/heavy/champion appearances (instead of just the last two) they function like their namesake in AoE1.
- Re-added Assyrian Tactics, it now costs 200w, 250g, provides them with a x1.5 bonus vs infantry, additional attack and hack armour.
- Lighthouses now correctly leave a 3x3 destruction instead of 4x4 destruction when destroyed. Take 90 seconds to build now.
- No longer has access to Apothocaries or Tombs.
- Gain access to Horsemanship.
- Monobeles no longer have a unintentional multiplier negative bonus.
- Paid in Blood now costs 300g, and decreases the decrease the train time of all Priests by 25% instead of 20%.
- Removed Red Tide entirely.
- Removed Conscripts from RM gameplay.
- Spearmen now have 25%/10% armour (they are counter cavalry now after all) and are now available in the Archaic Age.
- Desert Scouts lose their bonus against Economic units, this instead goes to their Light Camels.
- Sobek no longer gets Rebellion, instead has access to Plague, which is basically Locust Swarm on meth, and can attack all units in an area. Basically an anti-unit nuke, an Egyptian version of Lightning Storm.
Greek
- Peltasts no longer trash archers anymore, now also have -5 hitpoints.
- Sphendonetes now trash archers again, but have only 20% pierce armour instead of 22%.
- Theatrons now take 90 seconds to build.
- Agoge now costs 100f, 100g, and takes 25 seconds to research. However their hitpoints are now increased by 10% instead of 25% and food price increase is changed to 10% instead of 25%.
- Removed Hippocratic Oath.
- Pankration now costs 100f, 100g, but the attack bonus has been decreased to +1, train time unaffected.
- Hoplitodromos now costs only 150f, and the speed boost is now set to a fixed rate of +0.2.
- Tarantine Cavalry now costs 150f, and is researched in 20 seconds, however it increases the gold cost and hitpoints of Sarissaphoroi and Cavalry by 10%.
- Removed Leonidas from Zeus (because frankly Leonidas was only added lazily) now gets Diomedes who is basically just a stronger version of mortal Arkantos as a consolidation for not having him instead.
- Poseidon's Lord of Horses now costs 50f instead of 100f, now researched in 25 seconds.
- Removed Psiloi from RM gameplay.
- Thorakitai armour stats have been decreased to 25%/15% since they are supposed to be counter cavalry. Now available in the Archaic Age.
Norse
- Perfusion now costs 1000f, 800g, now takes 30 seconds to research and now Longhouse slashes traintimes by 67% baseline.
- Supply Lines now researched at the Tingholl.
- Bloodbath now costs 300f, 250g and is available in the Heroic Age now.
- Gain access to Ballistics.
- Rus Colonies, Gothic Migration and Danish Reforms now available in the Mythic Age.
- Arson moved to the Heroic Age, and is now located in the Tingholl.

- Stone Throwers no longer have a unintentional multiplier negative bonus.
- Harjars now available in the Classical Age at the Longhouse, have 15%/30% armour, 6 damage, and x5 vs buildings, now also do x2 bonus damage to armored units. Cost 60f, 45g now.
- Norse Bowman are no longer errounously referred to as Bogsveigir, but now as Skyti. Cost 25g instead of 35g.
- Removed Siegfried from Supremacy play (basically he's too much maintenance, mostly asset-wise to keep him in) so Odin gets Beowulf instead.
- Bragi's Swine Array now affects Bondi instead of Ulfarks, increased damage bonus to +x3 instead of +x1.
- Berserkergang now affects Berserkers instead of Ulfsarks now.
- Bondi now have 25%/15% armour.
- Giant Slaying Blades now makes Raiders good against all myth units, and provides them additional hitpoints.
- Dainsleif now exclusively affect Dengrir.

- Venlesh's 4K Particle effects have now been included.
- Herdables have 75% less hitpoints.
- Buffed Perseus: Special Attack is now only used against Myth Units but has +5 range, +8 LOS, +0.2 speed, Attack decreased to 12 but now has a x8 bonus vs MUs, HP decreased to 380, +10% Hack Armour.
- Resolved some bugs with inconsistent name and descriptions

- Oak Trees with Snow now burn when Forest Fire is casted on them and are no longer available.
- Golden Fleece can now be placed on Boats again, as otherwise the mode was just KOTH.
- Chickens and Ducks will now be instantly killed by villagers again.
- Mail armour line no longer affects Ranged Human Siege
- Fire Lancers no longer classified as Archers (but still get increased armour from Archer armour line upgrades)
-- Removed Elite Fire Lancers upgrade, now can only be upgraded into Pyromancer Fire Lances in the Mythic Age, with additional hitpoints, attack, range, and attack rate.
