Hey man this mod is great!! Keep it up i really love the addons. But i think that the campaign is a bit difficult i have managed after hours of trying to pass the first mission also i have the feeling that is the mission from the demo of the 2001 E3

I give this a solid 7.8-8/10. Expanded Mod is a vast, spectacular mod full of much wonder, and a lot of inspiration for AoM, however, it is far from perfect.
There's an abundance of balance issues when considering the Random Map options, and a very overwhelming amount of units and buildings to choose from. Not that the majority of these new things aren't welcome, I feel like there's still a lot of work to done, is all.
This is a lot of work for one man to accomplish, so I greatly respect the dev, and his attempts with the mod.
Even if you're not super into its big changes, I think there's a lot to take in and appreciate about this mod.

I have spent about 5 hours with this mod. At first I was excited at the scope, but it quite quickly turned sour.

In general, the mod changes the style of gameplay into that of Age of Empires 3 by first increasing all the following: resource costs, unit selection, buildings, and techs. While in theory it would make it have more depht but has the side effect of slowing down the game too much. This is a very bad attempt at creating an impressive size.

The majority of the techs and units are lifted from AoE III. It wouldn't have been an issue if the mod creator knew when to stop adding things. In AoE III it is borderline but each unit has its own clear niche, here there are way too many units that overlap or are straight up trash. The bars become a clutterfest, with icons overlapping, poor explainations that sometimes are completely wrong both in cost and effect.

The new god powers often don't work or flat out uses another god power instead (had Sobek's Inferno cast a Lure instead).

Overall, the changes to the look on some of the myth units are great. Some of the buildings look very nice as well, but only when not in mythic age as the buildings become extremely mismatched.

If you want to play a kind-of-but-not-really AoE III with mythological elements then this mod fits that, but if you're looking for more classic AoM/AoT style, this isn't it.
