Texmod is created by An7hraX! For the rest of textures, credits belong to him too (Black Ninja's clothes, Red Livery and Ezio's garments).
1) Unpack the downloaded file: Texmod.rar
2) Run the file: Texmod.exe
3) Click the folder icon on the left beside the text "click left button to select an application".
4) Find and select the AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe (it should be in your Assassin Creed's main game folder)
5) Click the small folder icon right above the red 'X'.
6) Load appropriate .tpf files. You may choose from: BlackNinja.tpf, BlackNinjaEyes.tpf, Damascus_night.tpf, Ezio Auditore De Firenze.tpf, Red_Livery_Assassine_Version_1.tpf, Red_Livery_Assassine_Version_2.tpf.
Important note: you can choose only one texture for your Assassin, either:
BlackNinja.tpf + BlackNinjaEyes.tpf
Ezio Auditore De Firenze.tpf
Red_Livery_Assassine_Version_1.tpf
Red_Livery_Assassine_Version_2.tpf
To each you can add Damascus_night.tpf to have Damascus by night.
7) Click Run and have fun!
PS This mod is only for PC version of Assassin's Creed.

If somebody knows how to fix/bypass the error of "Shit Happened, D'OH" (Volper's problem), it would be nice of him to post the solution here.
Apart from switching off the anti-virus program, b/c it didn't work.
hello, can anyone help me? When I click run it just says: "Shi- Happened / D'OH"
Help?
Sent you a PM.
correct me if im right cause my AC wont load the costume.. and i think the textmod is only for the complete costumed one (that means i have to finish assassins creed so i will have all my equipments) before the texmod of ezio will work.. am i correct? cause the damascus at night loaded but not a single costume loaded
Hmmm, maybe, I tried only on profiles with the finished game.
everytime i press the run button there was a Virus detected by ESet
Err? No way, my Avast didn't detect anything... anytime, and it screams when any virus is detected.
That's because NOD32 doesn't like the way Tex Mod works, since it injects another aplication to replace the textures.
Even if it's 100% clean of viruses this anti-virus just blocks it.
To solve this problem, you have to add TexMod.exe and C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\wtf????.tmp to exclusions.
Oh, maybe, I remember a fan-made patch for another game, which hasn't any viruses, but Avast claims it has, probably b/c of the same reason - injecting new data into a file.
But without any appropriate tools/original files, it's hardly possible to make something new, and not replace old files or data.
looks great ;)
