A full scale submod for Absolute Corruption 2.4 that enhances the original with improved AI, better models and graphics, UGC compatibility, and more features and content. You MUST have Absolute Corruption Mod 2.4 installed (and preferably backed up) before installing this add-on. I will be listening to feedback and making adjustments.

No matter, we will still crush the Rebellion.

Great update though!

Description

As a general rule, we try to leave in place as much of the game play balance from ACM 2.4 as we can. The original mod is for the most part balanced superbly, but there are a handful of glaring exceptions. One such exception is the starfighter balance- which in the original mod is almost completely symmetrical and negates the fighter superiority that the Rebel fleet is supposed to enjoy by default. Combined with the Empire's manifest advantage in terms of capital ship firepower, this is too much imbalance to ignore any longer. Beta-testers who can achieve GC victory against the AI onslaught *as* the Empire are also getting crushed into paste *by* the Empire. And fighter imbalance seems to be the chief problem. In ACM 2.0, the fighters are getting rebalanced from top to bottom. First, no more shields for TIE-series fighters unless they have them in canon descriptions. Second, TIE fighters are getting nerfed in terms of health. A squadron of TIE fighters will no longer match even with a squadron of X-Wings. TIE Interceptors will be armed with anti-fighter concussions missles and will deal out lots of damage quickly, but will be very fragile to compensate. Upper tier TIE fighters like the Defender, Avenger, Phantom and Predator will still be fairly powerful, but not to the degree that they are now. The XG-1 and XM-1 boats will be their usual OP selves, but will be reserved exclusively for upper tier capital ships and carriers.
