A custom story for Amnesia: The Dark Descent in which you once again take on the role of Daniel, roughly one year after his ordeal at Brennenburg. Daniel has been doing quite well since his escape, but one night, a loud crash awakens him. It is up to you to investigate the source of the disturbance, and find out what it all means. Hello everyone!
I am pleased to announce that I now have enough material for my next mod for Amnesia to warrant a page here on ModDB!
My new campaign is entitled "Mea Culpa", in which you take on the role of Robert Graham, an ordinary man who inherits a not-so-ordinary mansion from his late uncle. Upon arrival, everything seems normal, but as you will find out, things are not always as they seem.

Mea Culpa will feature voice acting (probably terrible, but I'm trying :)), secret areas in many, many places, and a decision-making system where the choices you make will haunt you for the rest of your adventure. Do you save the man that may very well have been the cause of all the mayhem? Or do you live and let live? That is for you to decide.
Based on your actions at key moments in the story, later events will be altered, ensuring that there are several outcomes to the story and the events within.
I am extremely excited to be working on a mod again, and I hope others will be excited to see another one! If all goes well, Mea Culpa will put Abduction to shame.

Really nice, the puzzles were sometimes annyoing but it's still a good map.
This is the best custom story!
But I have a problem (at the "Pressure pads" part).
It must be a bug, but I can't do anything...
So my problem is there is no monster...
And the other (the biggest) is there is no wooden handle to open the other door... (There not even those four "statues").
What shoud I do? What can I do?
I know im a bit late, but it seems you don't have justine installed. It's impossible to progress in this cs without justine.
PROS:
-long story
-very scary
-oil distribution
-darkness
-story
-continuation from original amnesia
-ending
CONS:
-too much tinderboxes
-places you want to light are already lit and rows of (useless) lightsources take up all tinderboxes if you decide to lit the entire halls (ended up using too few)
-too much enemies, srsly the amount of monsters in this story is sky high which is good on scaryness and the "obstacles" a good story needs, but this is getting annoying and is slowing one down too much.
