A custom story for Amnesia: The Dark Descent in which you once again take on the role of Daniel, roughly one year after his ordeal at Brennenburg. Daniel has been doing quite well since his escape, but one night, a loud crash awakens him. It is up to you to investigate the source of the disturbance, and find out what it all means. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE JUSTINE FOR THIS STORY.

Hello everyone!
I am pleased to announce that I now have enough material for my next mod for Amnesia to warrant a page here on ModDB!
My new campaign is entitled "Mea Culpa", in which you take on the role of Robert Graham, an ordinary man who inherits a not-so-ordinary mansion from his late uncle. Upon arrival, everything seems normal, but as you will find out, things are not always as they seem.

Mea Culpa will feature voice acting (probably terrible, but I'm trying :)), secret areas in many, many places, and a decision-making system where the choices you make will haunt you for the rest of your adventure. Do you save the man that may very well have been the cause of all the mayhem? Or do you live and let live? That is for you to decide.
Based on your actions at key moments in the story, later events will be altered, ensuring that there are several outcomes to the story and the events within.
I am extremely excited to be working on a mod again, and I hope others will be excited to see another one! If all goes well, Mea Culpa will put Abduction to shame.

This is a fixed version of the Custom1.hps file. Please extract it into the following directory inside your Amnesia folder: custom_stories/Abduction/maps/Ch01...
Full release version 1.0.6, which will hopefully be sans bug! Please leave feedback if you find something amiss, and I will correct it as soon as possible...
The only reason this is here is because it didn't update the first one properly, and I didn't feel like waiting another 24 hours only to have the same...

I finished Abduction and I feel like I should express my thoughts on it. Overall, it's decent. It has some good and new ideas (like the boss fight, that was awesome), however with many mistakes it decreases its quality, could've been much better. Continuing Amnesia's story seemed quite a wrong choice at the start. Until chapter 3, it was so. Then it turned out to be not a bad story, and even made some sense at some points, especially at the end. Traveling through realms was a good idea too. Some…

I personally thought it was horribly unoriginal. Things were directly ripped from the main game, down to exact script functions.

Really enjoyed playing it, gave me a few scares as well which is always nice!! I really liked the ending which left it open for the next one very well ... Just a quick note though that when i was in the cells towards the end i moved a sleeping mat and it dropped my fps to 1 making it unplayable (i reloaded it, just didn't go back there)

and yeah after this..when is the code with the boxes
i did it ,the door opens..BUT
i missed 2-3 monsters
then when i enter the door which opens with the code
the monster again does not show up
and there isnt any level to open the next door...-.-
That means you didnt have Justine installed. Install it, and load a save from before entering that area.

Thats where all the Justine entities will be. ptest is the Justine base folder in general, so if you are looking for something, go to whatever category it is (entity, static object, etc) and then go to the ptest folder.
