This mod aims to update much of the 2004 Axis and Allies RTS game to modern day warfare. A new campaign is planned along with a new WW2 mode, and current nations to be involved include China, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, EU, and many other countries. Infantry and naval combat are being entirely reworked, as is the game economy.

well, there's a few options.

you could make it last 30 seconds instead of 120. this way players would have to make it count! most serious engagements between control groups are decided within 60 seconds anyways. the 120-second Blitzkrieg bonus is most useful for wiping out large groups of buildings.

another option would be to have a lower attack bonus last for longer periods of time. maybe a +10 point attack bonus that lasts for three minutes. instead of having it effect specific units you could have it effect organizations (aka regiments).

Oftentimes when I add new units or do AI tweaks, I will observe a random game and see how things go. In this instance I noticed Blitzkrieg being used on a British Challenger II Battalion with.... terrifying results.

The +50 bonus turned their main guns into vehicle sniper rifles, and their coaxial machine guns turned into infantry shredders straight from hell.

Needless to say this special Op will probably not be sticking around.
