Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.

Why germans should look like monsters? my Grandfather is MIA on eastern Front he had 4 little Children and dont look like a monster he dont like to go to war but when you refused to go then they execute you, or you will be send in an KZ like Yehovas Witness they refused to go to the Army. Think a little bit, German Soldiers were like other Soldiers most were forced to serve also there are not Nazitroops like many mentioned it Nazi were the Goverment/Party.or were the US Soldiers that invaded Irak Republican Soldiers/troops or Bushwarriors. Differentiate !!

Let's not continue any political discussion on Iraq or such. I don't want to have to start deleting flame posts, and I know people on both sides of the debate will do this.

At any rate, these are not your average German soldiers. Regular German troops are just as you described, professional infantry. The SS Reich's Guard are elite troops that intimidate American troops in the extreme.

Even if these men took to the field wearing bathrobes and bunny slippers, the weight of their reputation would be enough to still put fear into the hearts of their enemies. In essence, their skill makes them "scary" (if you want to put it that way), unlike most American units which are generally of poor quality.

Man to join the SS you had to be like the nazi party and ask to go into the ss. Drafting you would be put into the regular army. So if he was in the S.S. he would be a bad dude.

Description

Here, for your viewing pleasure, I have presented the latest units, both from the SS Division. They are SS Grenadiers and SS Reich's Guards. Credit for the SS Grenadiers design should go directly to Doctor Lee, as should helmet credit for the Reich's Guards. Most of the rest of the Guard unit is mine, the black and red coat textures in particular.

As for the units themselves, SS Grenadier units come equipped with two flamethrowers and incendiary grenades. SS Reich's Guards can be equipped with either panzerschrecks or flamethrowers, depending on player choice. They also have the ability to rout enemy units thanks to their fierce reputation.
