Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.
These are prototype images of what happens when you are hit with a nuke. It has a radius of 100, as well as a duration that I have yet to time. Don't expect anything inside to live. Trust me, it will be expensive, so Axis players need not worry too much about being overpowered with it every game.
after the explosion if units go through it blast do they get affected by radition?
No. For one thing, there probably won't be anything left to infect with radiation by the time its over. I might add something like that in later, but for now, I doubt there is much reason to.
you should make it one time use only
Trust me, with the amount of resources this weapon will cost, it probably won't even appear at all in most games. Choosing to invest in one is a huge risk.
Did you create the animation of the explosion or are you using something already available in the game?
For now, in-game resources are being used. Bear in mind that I am not an especially gifted modder. This mod is the first time I have modded at all, so I'm trying to do this as best I can.
This is going to be laggy for sure....
Unfortunately, yes. It wasn't enough to cripple my machine, but I may have to scale it back a bit for computers that aren't equipped with a GTX 470.
