why should we delete the ModDB page, what kind of logic is that? You can still download older versions and it's not gonna leave.

It's not only our mod that won't run on non steam versions, but all Mods will follow suit, when they reach a certain point of complexity that need the newest game version to work properly.

If you don't like it than contact Petroglyph and Disney, so that they patch all EaW variants and not steam only. The Modding community brought that topic to Petroglyph, but it depends also on Disney, who have to greenlight and invest for the patch.

Anyway it's easy to get EaW on Steam, it's cheap and regulary on sale. You can grab it for a few bucks, I saw it on some sales for as low as 4€ probably even cheaper in Dollars.

We also don't post that often news on ModDB anymore, it's more of paying our respect because of our long partnership with ModDB and AotRt. The Mayority of news can be found on our Discord server, the things shown on ModDB are few and already old

sounds like you're not using the Steam EaW/FoC,
anything else than Steam will not work, because only in Steam EaW/FoC got the latest patch and our mod needs them to work properly

unless Petroglyph updates them like they did with the STeam version, the answer is unfortunatly no

yeah it still makes no sense, you have to download the mod anyway... so why would it work to download the mod from ModDB but not from the Steam Workshop, even thought you have the Steam version of the game?

yeah it is based on that, for modelling it I made some photos with my phone while playing the mission after many years again, man I love the Rogue Squadron games^^

Yeah the turrets are just placeholders, it will most likly get a different armament ingame.
And yeah most designe elements are based on the Cr90, the neck behind the bridge and the wide radardish are based on the bunkerbuster from Last Jedi, while the round front part is a homage for the YT series freighterline.

It's good that you recognized it as a corellian ship imediatly, that was my intention :D

yeah EC Henry is a great 3d artist, I love his work. Who knows maybe in the future but right now we have plenty other stuff to do.

The last patches from Petroglyph are only made for the steam version. Don´t ask me why they didn´t patched the disc and gog version aswell.

The Mod wouldn´t run properly without the last patches and you couldn´t load save games.

I don´t think it would be fun to play it in that state and to start a new campaign every time you close your game.

Oh that happend for me too... The large Wraithshipyard for the stargate mod was distorted ingame.

I guess, that the alamo engine can´t handle to detailed models (atleast if they are organic) and so I divided the organic mesh in to two objects.

It´s still one file just like you have a model with a main hull and the details as an seperat mesh.

And yes, I am working on more content, but mostly niche things for space, like freighters and other things that aren´t made by most other mods.

I would love to do it aswell, but the empire already has the Juggernaut, AT-AT, a Laati variant & that ugly brick from the Rebels animated series.

because Petroglyph made a patch only for the steam version, without the patch your save files wouldn´t load after a while.
