Nice mod. Really spices the game up to be more intricate. It doesn't differentiate too much from the base game so it's not hard to transition to.
I did notice a few bugs though and I figure I'd point them out assuming you still work on this.
-The combat medic cannot board pelicans. Unsure why.
-Campaign is slightly bugged, but you can still complete it with little issue. Only things that I ran into that were problematic is trying to get the skulls. For example, Arcadia Outskirts has a skull that requires you to kill a bunch of wraiths, but this mod turns all the wraiths on that map into fuel rod wraiths and they don't add to that counter so you're unable to get that skull. The other skull I couldn't get was the skull on that level where you have to rescue those 3 platoons from the flood before the time runs out. That skull requires you to kill like 350 flying flood. This mod severely dampens the amount that appear on that level. I could only manage to kill 100 of them and I was zig-zagging around the map with hornets looking for them. Haven't tested the last mission's skull yet so I don't know if it's restricted by this mod yet or not. The rest are fine. Maybe add another way to get the skulls or just automatically give them to the player to get around those bugs?
-Pelicans cannot heal. Once a pelican is damaged, it cannot be repaired. I put one inside a healing field and it didn't even heal a bit. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but I'd wager on it being a bug.
-Infected units do not have LOS. I tried to scout the map a bit with an infected rebel I got early match and found that none of them have sight so they just wander into the greyed areas without revealing what's around them. The only way around that was to have some other units with them to act as their eyes like an infection form or something.
-Rocket troops sometimes get frozen animations. They still function fine, but they just slide around the map.
-Another issue I ran into in the story mode is that for some reason the hero units would sometimes be completely unresponsive. They won't move or attack. Only way I found to get around that is to let them die and then revive them and hope they get refreshed(which works most of the time)
-One small issue I ran into in the story mode is that Forge and Anders are a bit bugged. I assume this is because you altered them somehow. It's nothing game breaking, but it can be noteworthy. I've found that Forge cannot seem to enter the airlocks on the ship level so when the barrier comes around, he will always get hit. It doesn't matter much since he gets back up from death though so it's not serious. An instance of Anders is on the 3rd last level where you have to capture four bases. For some reason, when the AI takes control of Anders to board the pelican, she never does. She just stands there. Enemies can shoot her and she can defend herself, but she never leaves the map. I don't know if her dying would cause the mission to fail or not as I didn't want to take that chance. Again, not game breaking, but noteworthy.
-Another issue I've ran into is that sometimes the camera gets all wonked out. It usually triggers when you open the leader power menu and close it. The camera will usually just shoot into a weird angle and then trying to zoom out only rotates your camera. This can be cool sometimes as you can get the camera right behind units for some really cool battle screenshots, but obviously that is problematic when you're trying to play. You can work around it by tilting the camera until it's aiming straight down, but it can be hard to see some units after that.
Those are all the issues that come to mind. Everything else works real well and are fun.
Though I'd like the Spartans to get more allowance. Just 3 isn't all that fun to have in a battle. I understand it's for balance purposes, but they really aren't all that powerful to begin with so that limit isn't helping much. I like the fact that we can choose different weapons for them as I hated having to upgrade into different weapons without going back. I would like to see a Spartan with the Assault Rifle though if that is doable. Maybe slap the marine animations over the Spartan body? I know it's a weird weapon to put on a unique unit, but it's an iconic gun of the series.
