First seen service in Winter War still in prototype stages, KV-2 was heavy artillery tank designed as line breaker, as no other Soviet tank was capable of destroying Finnish concrete bunkers. The late variant had smaller turret than earlier, and was put into serial production for a smaller pressure on the suspension while keeping the same armor protection.
KV-2 was slower and had much higher profile than any other tank, and the late variant with its strictly rectangular turret is today called "fridge". Still, its 152mm howitzer was able to deliver heavy damage, when it havent bounced of the enemy armor.
Small revision. The gun was enlonged a little, and machine gun slightly changed (not pictured).
Kewl!
