tsundere, tsundere, tsundere, tsundere, tsundere, tsundere.
Watch this videos about the music in Kenshi, it sounds a lot alike.
In Kenshi we never joke about pie, beards or bees!
Imo it's not like he lost tons of time doing this, the dev had a freelance studio working on new art for 9 months or such while he implemented other features.
I think implementing it now that it's ready should be alright, especially if he intends to keep working with the studio for more art.
Well i guess in this case you may be right^^
At least my comment still stands when it comes to serious discussions, so it's not lost words :)
I'm just happy the community is serious enough to bury that comment fast enough^^ pies for everyone!
Don't use wikipedia as a source for serious arguments ;)
Totally wrong omg, so wrong it sounds almost like trolling ;)
I've been doing Kendo and iaido for years now and technique trumps physical strength by far.
You can kill someone with very little strength and adding more muscle mass doesn't help you out.
Pie is better.
Chris answered that exact same question in the previous image comments^^
omg on the video (around 0:30), the girl slams the door in the face of her friend XD, i like her very much already
well a "normal" style like that sure is better than the crap you had before :P
Now you just need to take those pubescent messages like "ADMIN treats every cuss as if it were Belgium" out and the forum will be of a standard level.
It a 2D depiction of a 3D life, there's a difference imo.
If you look at the right side of the banner (the picture at the top) for example, you see that the ships go below the asteroids. Even if we see everything in 2D, we know it is 3D, this is why I said it would be unrealistic.
Actually on most pictures you see that asteroids go one above another.
To make an analogy: Lets say we have a big wall on the surface of the world and there's a tunnel. From above (2D view), we would say that people can't go through the wall, but they do go through...
Why go through them if you can avoid them easily? Rings don't really cover much of the planets surface... it kind of sounds unrealistic to use rings to protect a planet against enemies...
I get some really great wild west vibes there :D
Will there be more than just explore and conquer, like trading with the neighbours for example or diplomatics in general?
go Kenshi go
hoping for many new updates
Even in this alpha state I would say yes. Being able to play with a lot of characters is fun (i tend to make smaller groups sending them everywhere over the map) and it allows you to fight bigger fights (take down a city for example).
But if that's not enough, think about what's to come, at some point you will probably (be forced) want to buy the full game, so why wait out when you could have it now for a lesser price?
come to Lofigames.com
write it down in the bugs subforum and a mod or admin there will try to help you out.
is a chat room for the kenshi game. l33t(mod) is there sometimes, ask him^^
the design of the game seems well polished.
Now for when's the demo to find out if it's also fun to play?
the ???? is: learning what "internet" means
this game is in production for years now. And the dev said he wont give it up even if he doesn't get money to hire a second coder (it will just take longer)
You can never be sure 100% but it's a pretty stable development
you already put survivors of Ragnarok in quarter 1 and 3 oO (there's some dark scheming going on :P )
anyway dont forget about Kenshi, a squad based RPG with a great dev (has a great beard too^^)
sdrawkcab siht daer uoy edam I
niw eht rof snwot
what's a Napoleon? oO
Space Pirates and Zombies was nice. 9,7/10
I like this articles, makes me remember all the good games I could have forgotten to vote for ;)
But they should be bigger >__<
i like kenshi (especially the potential behind it). voted for it so it gets more known^^
me too lol. bought 2AAA games and a lot more indie, but when it comes down to the price AAA took most of my money :D
the dev said that although the game-engine is cross-platform, the plugins arent, so there won't be a unix version.
IN MY OPINION maybe after the game's fully programmed and released on windows then a release could eventually possibly be thinkable on other systems
Fast-travel is planned as a feature, but not like vehicles and such, more morrowind-style
eventhough a vehicles mod will probably come out at some point (the game is very mod-friendly)
Kenshi will just run on windows. If i remember well the plugins arent cross-platform.
So IN MY OPINION maybe a linux version will come but only after the game has been fully published on windows and even that is only wishfull thinking ;)
right now dont look at graphics. The Dev said he will contract an artist when he has the funding for it (and a second developper for pathfinding and such)
