It works with 1.0005 (which you should get anyways) and Pavel says that it works for 1.0006 too but the 1.0006 patch had many singleplayer bugs so the GSC Game World removed that patch even from they site (so it is not official anymore)
Also Pavel should remove the 1.0006 compatibility from the faq from the manual...
So you need 1.0005 or else the mod wont work.

After testing it again yesterday i just really got bored...
It may have some good things that i liked like the ground textures or the new guitar sounds that add some more time to your camp time rest but there is something that i just dont like for some reasons...
and for the graphics:
seriously there is not such a wow thing about them i like the vanilla sky more, i like the vanilla terrain textures more i hate the wrinkled zombie like stalkers from this mod but i like at least the night time and the moon + the moonlight and the mutants.
Then for the sound:
i hate some new sounds like the new weapon sounds (they are like not for this weapons) and some other sounds like when walking on the grass or some like the last one... but i like the new ambient sounds...
then the weapons:
i hate most of the new pistol textures (they are look like toy guns seriously) but i like the ak-47 new texture...
Also i hate the gnomus ^cod like^ scopes but i will like the new ones that you will release...
Quest and crash fixes:
Of cource i like all the quest fixes and posible crash to desktop fixes too...
Well and finally it may seem crazy but i like the head bob effect from the vanilla version (but i still see litlle stars :D) and also there is a camera effect from the vanilla version when you turn your head back sudenlly but it seems to be removed from this mod......
Well this it all that i can think now, it seems that i like some things but i hate some others :D
@i will keep playing the vanilla version until some day maybe if some of the things that i hate will be removed from this mod...
I voted for all your 3 mods and will keep checking for new updates very often :)
btw it seems that the crysis type hand skin is still present on 1.4.4 (and you sayd that you removed it duh) but i can remove it when i intall the realistic weapon addon 0.8...

i tryed atmosfear and when the storm started the lighting effect was insanely beautiful :)))

Hmm there is an achievement called Marked by Zone in cop which seems to remove the "distant voices" from the background music...
i dont know if it really removes the baground music but please dont modify it :)))

well i tested the 1.4.4 (i couldnt resist :D) and found some annoying things that i would love to see to be removed in the 2012 update :D
1. The gloves skin reminds me of Crysis so it would be good to remove them
2. The sound when you brake a crate is very very annoying too :)
3. Some times i miss a headshot with a sniper rifle when aiming in the head with the gnomus scopes even from a very close dinstance and also i cant get a headshot with any other weapon some times (but i could get a really easy heads in the vanilla game)
4. Why the anomaly in the underground (lol i have a year to play stalker so i forgot the name)is blue instead of green???
Also it would be good if you make a full 2012 version installer with a new installer icon :D (just a suggestion)
